"Just Off of the Easel 1", Three New paintings.

"Lula-Belle and the Preacher Fisherman" 24x18 oil on linen.

This painting is going to RSHanna Gallery in Fredericksburg, Texas. http://www.rshannagallery.com/

This painting and the Paintings below were all painted since returning from the "Forgotten Coast Plein Air Paint out in St. Joe Florida.

"The Street Weaver" 12x16 oil on linen.

This little painting is another version of a somewhat larger piece called, "The Basket Weaver", a 20x20 painting. I will post a step by step demo of this painting later.

"Crossing near the Tin Star" 18x24 oil on linen.

This is a painting of this great little creek near the Tin Star ranch just outside of Fredericksburg, Texas. I hope to do several paintings based on that location. Rocks, water and horses.....makes me a happy painter.

  1. All three are winners. I personally don't love horse paintings, but this one is sweet. Love the composition and the rocks under the water. Very inspiring work!

  2. Thanks Randy. I always appreciate your insightful comments. These little creeks around the hill country near Fredericksburg Texas are very interesting, and I see the possiblity of getting several more pieces out of this subject. Time for another trip to the Hill Country.
