"Scribbling in the Margins #2"

Oct. 5th, 2011, I posted my first "Scribbling in the Margins" post. This is number 2. I don't know how much interest there is in this type of imagery. As I mentioned in the first post, I do believe drawing and sketching are useful as a continuing practice, as well as an art expression in and of itself. Sketch books keep one's observation skills sharp. Read more in the previous post October fifth, 2011.

  1. Always a treat to see work from as talented an artist as you. Thanks for sharing these.

  2. I very much enjoyed my extended tour of your blog. With the exception of the sketchbook, your ideas and approaches to painting often mirror mine. It's great to find one's thoughts echoed by another!
Your paintings, of course, are quite wonderful whether plein air or studio. So glad I discovered your site.

    1. Thanks Shirley! Yes, there is a certain degree of comfort knowing that we are not alone in this struggle, or out in left field with ideas that do not connect with anyone else. Artist see with different visions, thankfully, but there is something universal about the pursuit to continue to improve, and do better work. Thanks for the thoughtful comment.
